Reason to Dance's Jeff Hunsucker - March 11th, 2016

Jeff Hunsucker (aka “Cheech”) is a 48-year-old Gemini born and raised in a small town west of Indianapolis called Monrovia. He loved it so much he moved back after 25 years. Like many kids, Jeff did not know what he wanted to do when he grew up. As a result, it only took him 30 years to complete his bachelor's degree from Boise State University. (Go, Broncos!)

When he is not appearing at Riley Hospital for Children, where he manages all the respiratory therapy equipment and has worked for 23 years, you can find him riding his road bicycle all around the state. (Interject public safety announcement: Bicycles are everywhere! Please give them the state law of 3-feet when you pass them. You may be passing Cheech!)

Jeff is honored to be part of Reason to Dance and – with no prior dance experience - is ready and willing to risk personal embarrassment for the children of Indiana. Jeff sees the struggles of Riley kids first-hand every day and says, “Win, lose or draw here at the Reason to Dance, I’m competing to help make the children's stay at Riley stress-free. We WILL make a difference with our efforts! Give until it hurts – your hurt does not compare to what the children are enduring!! You can make more money, but without your support the children will not have the smiles they so deserve.”
